Detached stone annex

This building started life as an outbuilding, was converted in the past in to a games room and the current owner gained planning permission to convert it into a self contained annex for her disabled father to live in. When we started the job it became apparent that what remained of the existing structure was not sufficiently structurally sound to be retained, it therefore became a new build project although built in the style of an old barn. Natural materials were used to keep the authentic look along with exposed timber beams and traditional rough cast render, the stone work was pointed with lime mortar. High quality windows and doors were added to complete the look.
